Hi — I’m Brian Stewart, and I built FreeTestPrep.com because I believe every student deserves access to high-quality test prep, regardless of what their family can afford.

I’ve spent the last 20 years helping students prepare for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, and other standardized tests. Over that time, I’ve logged more than 30,000 hours of one-on-one instruction and authored dozens of nationally published test prep books. I’ve scored a perfect 36 on the ACT and a perfect score on the SAT — not because I’m a genius, but because I’ve studied these tests inside and out so I can teach them clearly.

Here’s what I’ve seen over two decades of tutoring: the students who improve the most aren’t necessarily the ones who are naturally gifted — they’re the ones who practice consistently with quality materials and take the time to understand their mistakes. The problem is that quality materials usually come with a price tag. Private tutoring can cost hundreds of dollars an hour, and even many “free” resources online are poorly written or recycled from outdated sources.

That’s why I created this site. Every question on FreeTestPrep.com is original — developed by me, based on the same expertise that goes into my published books. Every answer comes with a detailed explanation, because knowing why an answer is correct matters more than just knowing what it is. And it’s all completely free. No paywalls, no premium tiers, no catch.
